A Jamendo Tip

You go to Jamendo, find an album that redefines cool, and go to download it.

Oh, sure, you could use the standard MP3 download, but that might get some flesh-eating lawyers breathing down your neck someday. Or worse, down Jamendo’s neck.

So you click the link for the OGG Vorbis torrent, as any hep cat would do.

Except that this redefinition of cool has yet to enlighten the mentalities of others, and nobody’s seeding it. Meaning you can’t get it, either, in the only format you want.

What do you do?

Well, my friends, here is my tip for you. Open up a new tab in your browser, copy and paste the following URL into the address bar:

http://www.jamendo.com/get/album/id/album/archiverestricted/redirect/%s/?p2pnet=bittorrent&are=ogg3

Then replace “%s” with the album number, and hit Enter. You’ll be on your way to downloadsville before you know it.

Don’t bother to thank me, leave a little scratch in the artists’ tip jars instead.
